EGS Energy’s management team has a unique balance of operational, technical, financial and management expertise. Most importantly amongst the team there is extensive experience of treating the underground rock-mass to create EGS reservoirs that can generate electricity and energy for heating.
Roy is the pre-eminent geophysicist in the development and management of hot dry rock geothermal projects with over 30 years’ experience. He is Technical Director, and founder shareholder, of EGS Energy Limited.
Dr Jörg Baumgärtner:
Special Adviser Operations
Jörg is a geophysicist by profession and took his PhD in stress measurement. He has a strong background and extensive experience in both conventional and engineered geothermal systems and their management.
David is a non-executive director of Impax Funds Ireland plc, a quoted open-ended investment company managed by Impax Group plc, an environmentally focused fund management company for institutional and private investors across a range of listed and private equity funds.
Richard is a non-executive director with AIM-listed Greka Drilling Limited, a coal bed methane gas drilling company with operations in Asia and also with AIM-listed Cogenpower plc, a combined heat and power district heating (CHPDH) company, with operational plant in Italy and which is looking to expand into the UK.
Bill has thirty-five years’ executive experience in infrastructure development, with a primary emphasis on the power generation and energy services industries.
Mike was previously CEO of British Energy plc and COO of Centrica plc. He is an operator with extensive senior executive management experience and has more than 11 years’ experience as a FTSE 100 board member.
Guy is Managing Director, and founder shareholder, of EGS Energy Limited and has been driving all the surface elements of the company’s business since its inception in 2008.
Terry is an ambitious Drilling Manager and Supervisor with over 30 years of experience in both oil & gas as well as geothermal drilling.
Dr Andrew Jupe:
Andrew has a degree in Geological Geophysics with Mathematics from University of Reading, and a PhD in Geophysics, Rock Mechanics and Reservoir Stimulation from the Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter.
Tony is a Chartered Mining Engineer with a degree from Camborne School of Mines. Between 1980 and 1991 he worked as Technical Support Engineer at the Rosemanowes Project.

John has a Masters Degree in IT from University of the West of England and is a qualified PRINCE2 Practitioner.
